This is the kitchen, living room area of my house that my Dad and I decided to put hardwood floors in. We used solid oak hardwood planks, Bruce brand, I had no complaints with the flooring at all. It was a time consuming task especially when it came to coping around and through doorways but, it gave my Dad the opportunity to buy these tools for his inspired son. Tools required: finish gun, compressor, pneumatic flooring nail gun, wall shims, corded multi-tool, rubber mallet, pry-bar, chalk line, hammer, ear plugs, goggles, chop saw, table saw and 2 1/2" flooring nails and finish nail. I drafted up these plans in my drafting class for the whole home, but focused on the kitchen area so an accurate idea could be reached of this job.
